Vantage Lab Studio makes one thing well: laser-engraved anodized aluminum business cards. The material carries the impression, so the card feels like the work behind it.
We start with solid aluminum, then anodize it. Anodizing grows a hard oxide layer and seals color inside the metal rather than painting it on the surface. That is why the finish resists scratches, water, and fading through a full box of introductions.
A card weighs roughly 12 grams and stays cool to the touch. Light moves across the anodized surface differently than it does across paper, so the card reads as a single, deliberate object in the hand.
The engraving is the point. The laser cuts through the color to the bright silver aluminum underneath, so your type and logo appear as light lines against a dark field. Those lines sit below the surface, where handling cannot wear them away.
Paper takes ink and eventually gives it back. Anodized aluminum takes the engraving once and keeps it, which is the whole reason the card is worth making from metal.
